The latest Traffic Suite User Group meeting in Sheffield on 6th November 2024 brought together 15 local authorities for an exciting day of collaboration and innovation (we also got some online participants at one of the sessions – we always make it possible for those who are not able to travel). Here’s why these sessions matter and what you might be missing out on.
Your feedback = direct impact on Traffic Suite’s product development
Your voice matters. Each idea for a new feature we build at AppyWay comes directly from user feedback at these sessions. No guesswork, just real solutions to real needs. The product team (spearheaded by the usability-obsessed Samuel Kinrade) plans each season’s work based on what our users want.
This is how our approach differs from other service providers in the market – our Customer Success care is at the core of what we do – and the results speak for themselves.
New feature success story: Draft documents ahead of a proposal
You asked, and we delivered! After being one of the most requested features in our user group sessions, we’re proud to present this powerful new capability in its fully operational form.
When using the Traffic Suite, you can now accelerate your planning and consultation process by creating draft map schedules before stakeholder engagement begins. This eagerly anticipated feature lets traffic teams:
- Generate comprehensive map schedules from existing street data – with a visible “Draft” watermark on it
- Save significant time by automating the initial drafting process
Developed in direct response to your feedback, the draft mode streamlines the entire review cycle – from initial proposal to final implementation. Stakeholders receive clear, consistent documentation that’s easier to review and approve, reducing delays and back-and-forth communications.
More and more useful features for users of Traffic Suite
But that’s not all – we have just revealed other new, highly requested features which are now available after receiving feedback from Traffic Suite users:
- New Kerb BI Reports – This feature provides data on order types, total orders, restriction counts, and KM coverage – in one simple report, created automatically.
- Enhanced Engagement Dashboard – It’s now even easier to manage and view the feedback on your proposed traffic orders – very useful if your public consultation gets hundreds or thousands of comments!
