By adopting our award-winning Traffic Suite, North Tyneside is moving away from legacy processes to a dynamic, map-based system for managing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs).
Supporting a Sustainable Borough
North Tyneside Council has ambitious plans for the future, including projects which support the council’s aims of delivering places to be proud of, good work and economic growth, and housing and neighbourhoods that enhance lives.
Transitioning to Traffic Suite gives the council a single source of data for all kerbside assets. This digital foundation will help to reduce the time required to draft, consult on, and implement complex traffic changes needed to support local transport projects and manage the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure across the borough.
Unlocking Data with API Integration
Crucially, North Tyneside Council is going a step further by leveraging the AppyWay API.
The API integration allows the council to seamlessly share accurate, real-time kerbside data with external systems. This connectivity will be vital for powering smarter resident-facing services, integrating with enforcement platforms, and ensuring that future mobility providers have the accurate data they need to operate efficiently within the borough.
