The AppyWay community came together once again for our latest Traffic Suite User Group sessions, and this time, we went fully digital! We were thrilled to welcome over 40 users to each of our online sessions focusing on our Streets and Engagement modules. While we missed the in-person interactions and the buzz of our Sheffield event last year, the virtual format allowed us to connect with even more of our valued users from across the country.

These sessions are a cornerstone of our product development philosophy. We believe in building better, together. Your feedback is the driving force behind every new feature and improvement we make to the AppyWay suite. It’s your insights that help us solve real-world challenges and innovate in ways that truly matter.

A finger on the pulse: live feedback with Mentimeter

To capture your thoughts in real-time, we used Mentimeter during the sessions. This allowed us to get an instant snapshot of your opinions and feelings about our modules. The results were incredibly encouraging and have given us a clear direction for our future development efforts.

Streets: Paving the way for excellence

Our Streets module is a vital tool for many of our users, and we were keen to hear your feedback on its performance. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with a staggering 90% of attendees rating Streets as ‘Very Good’ or ‘Brilliant’. This is a testament to the hard work of our product and engineering teams, and it’s a clear indication that we’re on the right track.

We also wanted to know how many of you are taking advantage of the ability to embed Streets into your own web pages. The responses here were fascinating. While a good number of you are already using this feature, an even larger proportion had either considered it or were unaware that it was possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for all the users to implement Streets as a transparent and user-friendly way to review traffic orders both by the internal team and the public.

Engagement: A module for the people

The session on our Engagement module was equally insightful. We’re passionate about helping you connect with your communities and stakeholders. During the session, we discussed a number of ideas already submitted to us by customers and established the priority of their implementation. It was brilliant to hear your thoughts and work together to shape the future of the module and make it even more effective.

Your voice, our mission

Our new Product Owner, Alex Gardner, had this to say about the user group sessions:

“Hearing from so many of you was the best part of the sessions for me. This isn’t a box-ticking exercise for us, not at all. Your feedback is everything. It goes straight back to the dev team and literally decides what we work on next. We’re already cracking on with new features that were suggested in the chats. We just want to build tools that make your job easier, and listening to you is the only way we’ll get there. It’s that simple.”
