We are delighted to announce that AppyWay has been selected by Harrow Council as their new Traffic Management Order (TMO) software partner for the next 4 years!
Mapping a Smarter Borough
Harrow Council is taking a major leap forward in modernising its highways and parking infrastructure. By adopting AppyWay’s Traffic Suite, the borough is moving away from legacy systems to create a centralized, map-based digital “source of truth” for its streets.
Crucially, this partnership goes beyond standard order management. Harrow will be utilising our Off-Street module to seamlessly manage car parks and estates, alongside a dedicated API to unlock and share powerful kerbside data.
From Imagery to Insights
To build this high-definition digital foundation, the project kicks off with a comprehensive data transformation. The contract includes a full GIS Extraction of all static and moving traffic order features from a digital image survey provided by Cyclomedia. By capturing this data directly from Harrow’s existing survey imagery, we are helping the council turn static visual records into intelligent, map-based digital assets.
What does this mean for Harrow?
- A Complete Kerbside Picture: By combining on-street restrictions and the Off-Street module, Harrow will have total visibility over its entire parking and traffic ecosystem.
- Streamlined Operations: The council’s teams can move away from paper-heavy processes, allowing them to manage, amend, and publish traffic orders with pinpoint accuracy.
- Data-Led Decisions: Integrating our Traffic API ensures that accurate kerbside data can flow where it’s needed most, preparing the borough for future mobility challenges and sustainability goals.
Building for the Future
We’re incredibly proud to support Harrow Council on this ambitious digital transformation journey over the next four years.
”Harrow is a forward-thinking borough, and we are thrilled to help them unlock the full potential of their kerbside. By extracting intelligence from their existing survey imagery and adopting Traffic Suite, Harrow is building a modern foundation that benefits both council teams and the wider community. We can't wait to see the impact of this digital-first approach.
