Mapping a Smarter Borough
Greenwich is taking a significant step forward in modernising how it manages its streets and kerbside. By adopting AppyWay’s Traffic Suite, Greenwich will have a map-based digital source of truth for every restriction across the borough.
The partnership goes further than order management alone. Greenwich will also be utilising our Enforcement API and Assets API, giving council teams and partners direct access to accurate, structured kerbside data, alongside KurBi, our BI module for kerbside planning, to turn that data into actionable insight.
From Imagery to Insights
To build this digital foundation, the project starts with a full survey and GIS extraction covering 460km of Greenwich’s road network. By capturing every static and moving traffic order feature directly from the ground up, we’re helping the council turn miles of kerbside into an accurate, structured, and immediately usable digital asset.
What does this mean for Greenwich?
- A Single Source of Truth: With 460km of restrictions mapped and digitised, Greenwich’s teams will have a complete, accurate picture of every order across the borough.
- Smarter Enforcement: The Enforcement API gives officers and partners real-time access to the data they need, right where they need it.
- Data-Led Planning: With KurBi and the Assets API in place, Greenwich can start making kerbside decisions based on evidence, not guesswork.
