After learning that there was another much more user-friendly traffic order management tool available, North Somerset Council reached out to us for more information. Once they got stuck into the intuitive set-up of our Traffic Suite they were really keen to make the move.
Since transferring to Traffic Suite, North Somerset has realised time-saving efficiencies within their traffic order team and we have worked together to develop new functionality in the system to make it even easier for colleagues in parking services to access the relevant traffic order information.
As North Somerset had already adopted a map-based approach to their static orders we were able to transfer their existing traffic order data into Traffic Suite, this process resulted in North Somerset’s data being standardised in readiness for the future DfT TRO data model. We have committed to all of our local authority partners that, when finalised, we will convert their traffic order data into the DfT standard at no additional cost. Our Traffic Suite was built on the very basis of traffic data being standardised and we remain committed to this approach.
”When we started looking for an alternative to our existing TRO system AppyWay was by far the best solution, we have found that using AppyWay has managed to save approximately 50% of officer time when producing a traffic order. The system is very user friendly, it is quick and easy to create orders and make changes and revisions. We would recommend AppyWay if other Authorities are considering changing their TRO system.
